BQool Review – Automatic Repricer Tool for Amazon FBA Sellers

April 20, 2021 By Stephen Smotherman 34 Comments

Recently on the Full-Time FBA blog I’ve been talking with you about how important it is to keep your inventory prices updated if you’re wanting to increase your sales and profits. I’ve shared with you how to manually reprice your inventory, when it’s best to manually reprice, and if you should consider using Amazon’s Automate Pricing repricer tool. Now, I’m going to share with you the best repricing solution I’ve ever experienced: BQool.

Bqool is, hands down, the best tool that I’ve added to my Amazon business in the last 4 years. Only InventoryLab and Keepa (both of which I started using over 5 years ago) have eclipsed BQool in the impact that they’ve had on my Amazon business today.

After I started using BQool, my inventory was optimized to have the most competitive prices on Amazon. Notice, I didn’t say the “lowest” prices, but the most competitive. BQool helps lower my price a little if I need to, but it also helps raise my prices when the opportunity is there! My sales and profits have never looked better.

Let me tell you more in this video:

As you can see, using BQool helped my Amazon business get to the next level. My sales increased and my profits increased. Not only that, but I’ve spent less money on storage fees (both monthly and long-term) because my inventory is selling much faster than before. BQool has helped raise my IPI score, and improved the health of my overall Amazon business.

Imagine what your Amazon business would look like with an increase in sales like this. You’ll get bigger disbursements which will lead to more sourcing money. The faster you can reinvest your sourcing money into more profitable inventory, the faster you can grow your overall profits. It’s like a snowball effect that will grow your Amazon profits again and again.

I want to give you my own personal BQool pricing rules that literally doubled my sales the first month I used it.

If you sign up for BQool via my link, then I’ll send you my own personal BQool repricer settings that helped me double my sales the first month of using it. Just contact me from the same email you used to sign up for BQool (so I can verify your free trial) and once verified, I’ll send you my personal BQool repricer settings.

Now, I’d love to hear from you. Have you considered using an automatic repricer? What would you do if you were able to increase your Amazon FBA sales by using BQool? Any fears you might have about using a repricer? What excites you most about the idea of using BQool?

I signed up for Bqool about 2 weeks ago and finally got all my listings set with minimum and maximum prices (and used your repricing settings). However, I have a lot of “little” questions (I haven’t searched on Bqool for answers yet – sometimes the help/support is so technical that it doesn’t help). It would be awesome if you could do/arrange a webinar to go over some of the basics with a Q & A. Thanks.

Would this work or be helpful for used book sales? I’m wondering especially about differences in pricing for condition, etc. (for example, if your book is listed as “good” condition, but there are others on listing as “acceptable”, etc.) Would Bqool differentiate correctly when repricing? Thanks!

Bqool is perfect for used book sales. You can reprice your books for only the same used condition if you want. So you can have the most competitive price for a used very good book and ignore the books in acceptable condition, if you want. More info: https://www.fulltimefba.com/bqool

My offer for my Bqool repricer settings does not have an end date set yet… but it won’t last forever. I’ll keep it up at least till the end of the month.

Stephen, do you know how bqool compares with Informed.co? I’ve heard that’s a good one.

I’ve heard that’s a good repricer too, but that BQool can do similar actions at a much more affordable rate. I think informed is a good repricer once you get in the 10,000 size inventory.

    Hi,

I used your rules following your 5 screen shots. I uploaded my costs via Inventory Lab, and right now IL and BQool are synching. Once that’s down, what do you recommend next? Using the Bulk Action method to set min and max prices? Are am I missing a step – didn’t realize I would need to use the calculator after setting your rules. Please let me know if I’m on the right track. Thanks a bunch!

It’s best to set your minimum and maximum prices one by one. Using the bulk option is not always the best answer, even though it’s easier. Start with setting the min and max for the items you have most in stock… then update the min/max for your higher priced items… then do the rest. It takes some time, but is will worth the time investment.

Stephen, The setup screenshots you emailed do those apply to FBA Used Books only as I did not think the Buy box applied to Used books.

    Thanks, Ray

The rules I gave you are for new items. Used items need a different rule. I mostly sell new items, so I can’t help you with personalized used repricing rules.

I signed up for the trial, connected to both my Amazon store and IL account, but there are not items listed to reprice.

Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours to connect. Usually faster than that, though.

You mentioned in the podcast that we could get your repricing template, without any mention of having to have to actually sign up for BQool through your affiliate link. That’s a little bait and switchy, but I’m sure that’s not what you intended.

The mention of Bqool and my Bqool rules were just a side comment in the podcast, and I say “to learn how to get my Bqool repricing rules for free, go to this link…” I never say, “Go to this link to get my free repricing rules.”
And at this link, I say that if you sign up for the 14 day free trial of Bqool, then I’ll send you my rules as a bonus. No bait and switch intended because it’s not bait and switch… because it’s all free. You’re getting what I’m offering. There is no switch to give you something else. If you don’t like Bqool, you can cancel before the free trial ends.
Plus, why would you want the repricing rules if you’re not going to use the service? The rules are useless without using Bqool.

Having about 500 items listed and not using Inventory Lab and doing the business Part time was wondering if Bqool would be advantageous to me.

Absolutely… I would start using Bqool once I hit 50 SKUs… so you’re well on your way to needing Bqool to automatically reprice your inventory. https://www.fulltimefba.com/bqool

Hi Stephen, I signed up for BQool through your link last week and applied your repricing settings. I sell mostly books and I’ve already seen a dramatic increase in sales and I’m still in the free trial phase. Also, the integration of BQool with Inventory Lab was super smooth. Thank you so much for another great recommendation.

    Hi Steve,
Follow up on BQool. How often do you need to manually update your min price? I find despite my pricing rules, I need to manually reprice inventory in order to get it to move, above the auto. rules. Is there a way to set up dynamic pricing to be more responsive? For ex. if the BB falls below my min price. My min price still has a margin built into it, but I’m willing to go lower if necessary to capture a sale, especially if that item is so competitive.

I usually go in once a month or so to double check my min/max prices to see if any of them need to be updated… but during Q4 it’s more like once a week. BQool might have a rule for what you’re looking for. Try searching this link for some help: support.bqool.com

If prices change very often in your market, then I advice to mass upload min and max prices more frequently. There is an option in bqool to do this, however you should keep track of your competitors to have this file updated and be able to upload it to bqool.

I`m testing your system right now.
I have only activated 2 items in Bqool SKU 2000 + 2001. Both SKU made mistake sending prices back to AMZ. My min. prices is set to EUR 20.10 and max. is 45.00, but the selling price send back to AMZ is now 14.49 for SKU 2000 and only 10.80 for SKU 2001, so I`ll loose money. I`m very afraid to activate all my SKU`s ( around 500 items ) untill this error has been found. I have seen a video from BQool that says, I just have to change my min/max. prices in AMZ to a lower min. price than 20.10 and a higher Max.price than 45.00 , but that`s easier said then done, and it doesn`t make any sense. I have around 500 items in all AMZ countries, so changing all this prices will take a lot of time

If you have any repricer settings set up in Amazon’s Automate Pricing, then they will override BQool’s rules, so you’ll want to be sure you have turned off Automate Pricing in Seller Central.

I just started with Bqool about 10 days ago and what a difference in sales! My sales are up 31% from the previous 30 days, and I hit my first $5,000-in-30-days milestone yesterday. It took me several hours to set up and get the min/max prices tweaked but what a difference. It’s money very well spent!

That’s great to hear Teri. BQool increased my sales and my buy box win %, but I still find myself having to manually tweak prices, despite my rules, min, max and the range in between. I’m curious how much time other people spend in price maintenance? Also, from what I see there is no way to specify a min price to be no lower than say x% ROI; min and max have to be set up separately, either 1 by 1 or by importing them. It would be great if a rule could automatically take my COGS and the FBA fees and set my min price equal to the minimum amount of margin I can accept, so I can have a wide range to compete and win the BB based on my rules and max price.

Yes, it’s always good to go in and manually tweak things from time to time. I probably do this once or twice a month and it’s well worth the few minutes spent. Also, check out this page on BQool about bulk uploads of setting a repricing rule based on ROI: https://www.bqool.com/improved-bulk-configuration/

Hi Steve, I set up my rule using your BQool repricer settings. Do you just use Custom, or do you also use any of the other 8 rules, like Undercut the Buy Box price – Oscillate, or any of the 3 new AI rules BQool launched this year? I wonder how the other rule types, particularly the AI ones, compare with your rules. Thanks.
